The pre-diagnosis of an operating wind farm performance is an analysis made prior to a performance audit. It is based on the analysis of the production consistency in similar situations between turbines of the same park but also on the analysis of the evolution over time of these performance comparisons.
More than performance, our engineers search for inconsistencies in the performance of turbines within the same park. These inconsistencies are often a symptom of a malfunction or improper adjustment of the wind turbine.
It should be emphasized that these studies, which do not require a reference measurement station, are a fast and economical first level of analysis prior to deciding whether or not a performance monitoring should be implemented.
